Kelad Neck Ring Assembly Full Kit (60 Degree chamfer & Preglued Tri-struts)

This kit will provide you with all the required parts to build a full OSD Style Kelad neck section accurately and easily. All the parts are CNC cut (+/-1mm tolerance) from moisture resistant MDF and solid timber. A free assembly jig is included and will allow you to simply line up the 3 rings giving the correct spacing.

The neck is sized to give 5mm clearance inside of the ring assembly. Clover style holes are included for the neck struts.

The chamfer angle is 60 degrees in line with Mk3 plans.

Included is a set of 8 triple dowel struts pre assembled with a precut 45 degree chamfer.

3 Neck Rings (18mm Mdf)
Ring 1: 584mm OD 482mm ID
Ring 2: 597mm OD 495mm ID
Ring 3: 610mm OD 508mm ID

24 x 8mm Hardwood dowels 330mm long preglued into Tri-struts

Neck bin bottom ring (18mm Mdf)
Neck bin top ring (18mm Mdf features 10mm center marking for dome pivot hole)

4 x 20x40x330mm battens (these will need to be cut to required length determined by plans and dome height)

4 x Jig sections

(Please note that minimal finishing is required prior to painting to achieve an accurate looking Kelad section. The length of the neck struts and bin batten will need to be sized according to the plans and the look you would like for you build)
